Baud Rates

When changing baud rates, some Microsoft Windows machines are unable to function
at the higher baud rates. It is recommended to test the baud rate first with the
permanent box unticked. This way, if it is not possible to communicate at the higher
baud rate, a power cycle can be used to revert to the previous baud rate.
