Chapter 3: Configuring and monitoring the LANCOM switch
Along with PoE status, LANmonitor also shows the PoE class as detected for
the powered devices. When a Powerded Device (PD) is connected, the Power
Source Equipment (PSE) measures the power requirement of the device.
Power requirements of the PDs are classified as follows:
