Status Bar

The status bar provides feedback on the current state of the PULSE Link application. It also
contains a number of buttons that allow you to search for radios, and specify the communication
parameters to use when communicating with a serial radio.
The following table briefly describes the items found in the status bar.

Description
Search for iPULSE devices button.
Display a form that allows you to search for
and select an iPULSE device.

Detect USB devices button.
Resumes the detection of USB-based PULSE
devices.

Connect to serial device button.
Allows you to connect to a serial port based
device, such as a 5000 series radio in which
a 5000 series adapter board has been
installed.

USB serial port settings button.
Allows you to set the serial port settings that
ENCOM PULSE Link will use to communicate
with a PULSE radio.
