– Switch off ignition.
Vehicles with automatic gearbox
– Loosen gear lever boot from cover ⇒ Rep. Gr. 37
Vehicles with manual or direct shift gearbox
– Loosen gear lever boot from cover ⇒ Rep. Gr. 34
All vehicles
– Remove handbrake lever trim ⇒ Rep. Gr. 46 .
– Remove centre dash panel trim (Golf 2009 ▸)
– Remove air conditioner/heater control panel trim (Golf 2009 ▸)
