Caution
When pulling the connector out of the retaining clip there is a
risk of damage to the wiring harness! This occurs if the con‐
nector becomes dislodged abruptly from the retaining clip. For
this reason, very carefully pull on wiring harness by hand, sup‐
port palm of hand on vehicle for this. Force applied on wiring
harness can be controlled, thus preventing an abrupt separa‐
tion of wiring connections.
– Hold onto the roof hand rail with one hand and gently pull on
the wiring harness (towards windscreen) until the connector
slips out of its retaining clip in the moulded headlining.
– Carefully pull connector -1- out through opening in moulded
headlining; only pull until connector is just beneath moulded
headlining.
