– Remove air conditioner controls unit / heater controls unit trim

– Loosen gear lever boot from cover ⇒ Rep. Gr. 37 .
Vehicles with manual or direct shift gearbox

– Remove storage compartment or ashtray unit (Golf 2009 ▸)
