Installing
WARNING
If a knee airbag bracket is renewed, the paint in the area of the
threaded stud and on the contact surfaces of the cross member
must be removed. This is absolutely essential to ensure an ef‐
fective earth connection.
Caution
To ensure trouble-free installation, screw in the bolts in the or‐
der specified: -arrows A- and -arrows B-.
– Secure knee airbag bracket with bolts -arrows A- (9 Nm).
– Secure knee airbag bracket with bolts -arrows B- (9 Nm).
– Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
