Installing
WARNING
If a knee airbag bracket is renewed, the paint in the area of the
threaded stud and on the contact surfaces of the cross member
must be removed. This is absolutely essential to ensure an ef‐
fective earth connection.
Caution
Adhere to bolting sequence -2-, -6-, -1- and -7- to assure cor‐
rect installation.
– Secure knee airbag bracket with bolts -2-, -6-, -1- and -7- (9
Nm).
– Further installation is performed in the reverse order of re‐
moval.
