General body repairs, interior - Edition 05.2010
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove lumbar adjustment lever
– Remove cover and padding from front seat backrest
⇒ page 315 .
– Unscrew two actuation mechanism bolts -1- (1.5 ± 1 Nm).
– Unhook lateral fasteners -2- and -3- from backrest frame.
– Unhook lateral springs.
– Release lumbar support -4- from upper mountings -arrows- in
backrest frame.
Installing
– Install in reverse order of removal.
