Date
The Date is transmitted similar to a 32-bit Word with the MOST significant byte first, then
the next MOST significant, until all the bytes are transmitted. FC3 reads 16-bit items at a
time; therefore, two registers are required to read each Date data item. Combine the two
characters in the 1st Register to obtain the four digit year.
Example (Decimal): 2007-10-05 (Format in YYYY-MM-DD)
Value (Hex)
0x07D70A05
Time (Format 1)
The Time is transmitted similar to a 32-bit Word with the MOST significant byte first, then
the next MOST significant, until all the bytes are transmitted. FC3 reads 16-bit items at a
time; therefore, two registers are required to read each Time data item. The Time is
always in 24 Hours Format.
Example (Decimal): 00:15:46:25 (Format in DD:HH:MM:SS)
Value (Hex)
0x000F2E19
Time (Format 2)
The Time is transmitted similar to a 32-bit Word with the MOST significant byte first, then
the next MOST significant, until all the bytes are transmitted. FC3 reads 16-bit items at a
time; therefore, two registers are required to read each Time data item. The Time is
always in 24 Hours Format.
Example (Decimal): 46:25 (Format in HH:MM)
