12 • Inview/ Budget Manager Accounting

Introduction

INVIEW and Budget Manager are packages which provide extended
accounting features. Budget Manager offers additional features over
the INVIEW package.
Use of INVIEW requires fitting a kit that is supplied with your system.
Details of fitting the INVIEW kit are available on the web. Go to
www.europe.pb.com/docs and enter the access code 9691.
Budget Manager is a purchasable option. Contact your machine
supplier for more information.
INVIEW or Budget Manager is enabled and controlled through the
normal system menus as described in this chapter. Both packages
use an external memory module which is connected to your system
via one of the USB ports.
Please note: INVIEW can also be referred to, in some instances as
Budget Manager Lite.

Turning INVIEW/ Budget Manager On

If you have purchased the INVIEW/ Budget Manager Accounting
option, follow the steps below to turn on the feature.
1. At the home screen, press Options.
2. Select "Accounts".
3. If the supervisor password is enabled, you will be prompted to
enter it and select "OK" to continue.
4. When prompted, select "Acct Type: .....".
5. Select "INVIEW/ Budget Manager". After a few seconds, the
INVIEW/ Budget Manager main menu will display.

Turning INVIEW/ Budget Manager Off

You can temporarily turn off INVIEW/ Budget Manager Accounting
whenever you wish.
NOTE: You will not be tracking postage by account when this
feature is turned off.
1. Press Options.
2. Select "Accts"
3. If the supervisor password is enabled, you will be prompted to
enter it and select "OK" to continue.
4. Select "Account Type: INVIEW/ Budget Manager".
