IMPORTANT
Operating the HmX Hematology Analyzer with open doors or panels introduces electrical
interference which can cause misleading results. Operate the HmX Hematology Analyzer with all doors and
panels closed.

STARTUP

Are Start Up results already displayed as
the result of a Clean cycle?
If no, go to step 2.

If yes, go to step 3.

Note: The Clean cycle consists of 30
minutes in Shut Down followed by an
automatic Start Up. See Chapter 5, Shut
Down for more information.

To begin Start Up
a.
Select
Press Û.

Once Start Up is complete, evaluate the
display. Expired reagents and failed
checks appear in red.
Note: Results print automatically. For
additional printouts, press Ì.
Press Ê to view detailed results.
4.
Make sure the Background and other
Start Up results are within limits.
Results outside limits turn red.
If a background count is red, press
