Chapter 12 Editing the Background

Resister Part
1. Specify the shape you wish to register.
2. Select [Register Part] from the [File] menu.
3. Select the IFE object file for the object registration from the displayed
[Register Part] dialog box.
4. Enter the object name, then click the [OK] button. The object name can
be up to 20 single-byte characters in length.
5. The [Register Part] dialog box is displayed again. This time select the
vector file to register.

1. Select [Select Part] from the [File] menu.
2. Click the [Ref. . . . ] button, then specify the IFE file.
3. Select an object from the object list. The object is displayed in the right
side of the screen.
4. Click the [OK] button after selecting the object. The object will be
displayed in the upper left corner of the drawing region.

Objects are registered in two formats: vector and bitmap. Objects registered
in vector format are a combination of drawings such as rectangles and
circles.
By setting a path to the environment variable IFE, object data can be called
up from the shape file of the same name that is in the set path if the path
registered in the IFE file is incorrect.
