Dragging while pressing the [Shift] key creates a shape with sides of equal
length.

Dragging the mouse vertically or horizontally while pressing the [Ctrl] key
equally adjusts the shape size vertically or horizontally.

Removing the check from the [Prohibit functional objects from overlapping]
box in the [Edit/Disp] tab of the [Options] dialog box ([Tools] – [Options])
enables you to place shapes on top of other objects.
