Check thl steering stem bearings for damage or
wear.
BEARING REPLACEMENT
NOTE:
I
Replace the bearing and blaring rIC. as • set.
Remove the bearing from the steering stem.
Remoye the upper bearing race with the special
tool .
Remove the lower bearing race with the special tool.
NOTE :
If the motorcYcle has been inyolved in an
accident, examine the area around the neefing
head for cracks.
