Clean the crankcase mating surfaces,
Apply liquid sealant to the mating surface of the
tower and upper crankcase.
CAUTION:
Do
not apply seawnr
to
the area near the
main bearings.
DO NOT COAT
THIS
AREA.
Assemble the crankcase halves, aligning the shift
fork claws with the gears.
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque values in
the sequence shown.
TORQUE

mm
bolt:
10-14
N-m
11.0-1.4
kg-m, 7-10
ft-Ib)
Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern and in 2-3
steps.
