Servicing of
the
spark
plug
is
as follows.
1.
Detach the
hi,
g h tens
ion
cord
cap, and
remove the
spark plug with
the
spark
plug wrench which is
attached
under
the
seat.
2. Check
t
ip
of the spark
plug for fou ling
or
deposit.
Clean
the spark
plug
with
a
spark
pllug
clea1
ner, however,
if
it
is not
available,
use a
stiff pin or wire
to
remove
the deposited substance, and
wash in solvent followed
by drying
w ith a
rag.

Adjust the spark plug
gap
to
0.024.-.J
0.028
in.
(0.6-0.7mm) with a feeler
gauge,.

adjustment
is
made by bending
the
negative
(
side)
electrode

When installing
the
spark
plug, it
should be first
screwed
in

spark
