Configuration procedure

Follow these steps to configure traffic accounting:

Enter system view

Enter Ethernet port view

Configure traffic accounting

Clear the traffic statistics

Configuration example

GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 is connected to the 10.1.1.0/24 network segment.

# Perform traffic accounting on the packets sourced from the 10.1.1.0/24 network segment.

Clear the traffic statistics.

<Sysname> system-view

[Sysname] acl number 2000

[Sysname-acl-basic-2000] rule permit source 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255

[Sysname-acl-basic-2000] quit

[Sysname] interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1

[Sysname-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] traffic-statistic inbound ip-group 2000

[Sysname-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] reset traffic-statistic inbound ip-group 2000

Enabling the Burst Function

You have determined that the burst function is required.

Configuration procedure

Follow these steps to enable the burst function:

Use the command...

interface interface-type

interface-number

traffic-statistic inbound

reset traffic-statistic

inbound acl-rule

for information about the burst function.

By default, traffic

accounting is disabled.
