RECTIFIER (Canada type)
REMOVAUINSTALLATION
Remove the seal (page 2-4).
Disconnect the battery negative H cable (page 21-8).
Disconnect the rectifier 2P (Black) connector [1).

Release the rectifier wire (1) from the wire guide [2] of

the rear fender.
Remove the mounting bolt [3) and rectifier [4).
Install the rectifier by aligning its boss with the hole of
the frame.
Install the removed parts in the reverse order of
removal.
INSPECTION
Remove the rectifier (1) (page 5-10).
Check for continuity between the rectifier side 2P
(Black) connector terminals.
When there is continuity, a small resistance value will
register.
If there is continuity in one direction, the rectifier is
normal.
