Start-up procedure for a new system installation, using the MSC card
1 Test the power outlet. Make sure that the correct voltage of power is
present before you plug the power cord into the outlet. The source
must match the label on the back of the chassis.
2 Connect the power cord from the power connector on the back of the
chassis to an AC power source. See Figure 63. Secure the power
cable with a cable tie.

3 Turn the power switch to "ON".
4 Observe the TTY or terminal screen. The TTY must be connected to
TTY port 0.
5 When you have completed the software installation (see "Installing
software in a new system" on page 215), observe the screen again.
