Chapter 8 Operational Settings

Scanning at High Altitude [High Altitude Mode]

Select whether to enable or disable high altitude mode.
Low atmospheric pressure at high altitudes may lower the
accuracy in multifeed detection by the ultrasonic sensor.
Enabling the high altitude mode allows you to use the scanner
at 2,000 m or higher altitudes.

Start up the Software Operation Panel.
For details, refer to
"8.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel"
(page
123).

From the listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2] 
[High Altitude Mode].

Select whether to enable or disable high altitude mode.
Setting the Image Quality for Scanning [Image
Quality Mode]
Set the image quality mode.
To obtain an image quality that is close to the image quality for
scanning with fi-6x30Z/fi-6x40Z, set the image quality mode.

Start up the Software Operation Panel.
