• Connect the pocket tester to the battery
terminals .

The state of a discharged M F battery can be
checked by measuring open circuit voltage (the
voltage measured with the positive terminals
being disconnected) .
Open-circuit voltage Charging time
12.8 v or higher
No charging is necessary.
12 .7v-11.5v 5 - 10 hours
Less than 11.5 v 15 - 20 hours

5 . Charging method of MF battery
elf it is impossible to set the standard charging
current. be careful not to overcharge.
e When charging the battery. be sure to
remove it from the machine. (If charging
has to be done with the battery mounted on
the machine for some reason. be sure to
disconnect the wire at the negative termi-
nal. )
e Never remove the sealing plug from the MF
battery.
