FRONT BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1. Check :
• Brake lever free play

specification ~ Adjust.
Free play:
2"-'5 mm (0.08"-'0.20 in)
2. Adjust:
• Brake lever free play

Adjustment steps :
• Loosen the locknut
CD .
• Turn the adjuster

in or out until the speci-
fied free play is obtained.
Free play is decreased.
Free play is increased .
• Tighten the locknut .

Proper lever free play is essential to avoid
excessive brake drag .
REAR BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1. Check:
• Brake pedal height

Out of
specification ~ Adjust.
Brake pedal height:
15 mm (0.59 in)
Below top of footrest.
2 . Adjust :
• Brake pedal height

Adjustment steps:
• Loosen the locknut

.Turn the adjuster
