INSTALLING THE MAGNET CONTROL
LEVER
1. Check:
• Magnet control lever
Cracks/damage → Replace.
2. Install:
• Magnet control lever
Installing steps
(1) Assemble spring

(2) When assembled, put the spring claw
into the groove

(3) Assemble as shown in the illustration.
(4) Install collar and washer.
NOTE:
• Assemble the parts according to the
steps above, and then install the
assembled parts to the cylinder body.
• Apply Yamaha grease A (water resis-
tant grease) to the spring, magnet con-
trol lever and acceleration cam.
