Adjust offset

Always adjust offset before adjusting boresight.
1. Project an image with the primary lens.
2. Select a framing test pattern.
3. Adjust the vertical (A) and horizontal (B) offsets to display a square image on the screen, with
minimal projector aiming error.
For the best optical performance and minimal keystone, use offsets instead of aiming at the center of
i
the image, in off-axis installations.
Avoid extreme tilts or offsets. Corner vignettes on a white test pattern indicate extreme offset that
should be avoided using mechanical alignment.

Adjust horizontal boresight

Warning! Failure to comply with the following could result in death or serious injury.
When doing optical adjustments on an operating projector and the top lid is removed, everyone
within the immediate vicinity must wear safety glasses with side shields and Christie approved
protective safety clothing (P/N: 598900-95).
The purpose of boresight adjustment is to balance the tile of the lens mount to compensate for
screen-to-projector tilt.
