Selecting "Set mode" on the SYSTEM MENU
displays the screen shown at left.
1 Execute : Sets an execution pro-
gram to be run when the
power is first applied.
2 Display : Sets the message version
(English or Japanese) and
the system status indica-
tion (voltage level icon
and shift-key icon).
3 Date/Time : Sets the calendar clock
(date and time).
4 Barcode : Sets special bar-code
scanning parameters (the
black-and-white inverted
label reading, the touch
s c a n n i n g / l o n g - r a n g e
scanning, the marker in-
dication, the bar-code
scanning status indica-
tion, and the decoding
level).
5 Com : Sets the communications
parameters and interface
port.
6 Switch : (Reserved for future func-
tional expansion. Do not
disturb the defaults "OFF";
otherwise, the BHT-4000
operation will not be as-
sured.)
7 Others : Sets the resume function
and shift-key function.
Select a desired item by using the numeri-
cal keys, then press ENT key.
0 with SF : Deletes a user program
file or data file.
