At this stage, the read data appears in
data item "A" but it is not yet regis-
tered into the data file. To register the
data, be sure to enter data for all of the
specified data items of the record and
then press ENT key.
If data entry (either with keypad or
bar codes) is not necessary, skip the
data item by pressing ENT key.
If you turn off the power without com-
pleting the entry for all data items of
the record and pressing ENT key,
the read data for data item A will be
lost when the resume function is deac-
tivated in System Mode (refer to Sub-
section 2.4.3 [ 4.6 ] Setting the resume
function and shift-key function.)
Enter data for data item B from the keypad,
and then press ENT key. The entered data
appears in data item B and the beeper beeps.
If you press 1 and 2 keys and then ENT
key, for example, Easy Pack starts register-
ing the entered ID code, data for data items
A and B, and the current date into the data
file as a unit of record.
Repeating the above operation accumulates
records in the data file.
