How to Create Data Files
Pressing 1 key on the manager's menu displays the start screen to create files. If no
data files have been created, four files should appear on the LCD. In the typical
operation flow given below, files 1 and 2 have been created so that files 3 and 4
appear.

Selecting a file number
Select a file number for a data file to be
created. In this sample, press 3 key.
Designating ID-related conditions
Select whether or not it is necessary to set
the ID-related conditions. If necessary,
press
1
key; if not necessary, press
2 key.
If 2 key is pressed, the screen skips to an-
other screen for setting the data-related con-
ditions.
If 1 key is pressed on the previous screen,
the screen shown at left appears, prompt-
ing you to select the ID code entry method.
To use both the bar code entry and keypad
entry, press 1 key.
To use only the bar code entry, press
2 key.
To use only the keypad entry, press 3 key.
If 3 key is pressed, the screen skips to an-
other screen for designating the number of
digits for a field.
