[ 3 ] "Transmit File" Mode

This mode allows you to transmit (upload) the currently selected data file to the host
computer.
Pressing 3 key on the user's menu displays the screen as shown below.
What follows is a typical procedure for uploading file 1.

Press 1 key to start transmitting data file
1. (To return to the user's menu, press 2
key.)
While the file transmission is in progress,
the communications monitor function dis-
plays the current record number (serial
number) being transmitted and the total
number of the records to be transmitted on
the LCD, making it easy to check the file
transmission status.
To abort the file transmission in progress,
press C key.
Upon normal end of file transmission, the
BHT-4000 beeps and displays the message
asking whether or not the data in the trans-
mitted data file should be deleted.
To delete the data, press
beeper beeps and the screen shifts to the
user's menu.
To retain the data, press 2 key. The screen
shifts to the user's menu.
If a communications error occurs dur-
ing file transmission or you abort the
file transmission by pressing C key,
the BHT-4000 displays the error mes-
sage shown at left and beeps three
times. To retry file transmission,
press 1 key; to cancel it and return
to the user's menu screen, press 2
key.
