Setting the transmission speed, charac-
ter length, parity, and stop bits
Pressing 1 key on the above screen dis-
plays the screen shown at left.
The current setting is reverse-displayed. In
this sample, the transmission speed (bit rate)
is set to 19200 bps.
Select a desired speed by pressing the cor-
responding numerical key, and your selec-
tion is registered and the screen automati-
cally returns to the "Set Condition" menu.
Pressing 2 key on the "Set Condition"
menu displays the screen shown at left.
Select a desired character length by press-
ing the corresponding numerical key, and
your selection is registered and the screen
automatically returns to the "Set Condition"
menu.
Pressing 3 key on the "Set Condition"
menu displays the screen shown at left.
Select a desired parity condition by press-
ing the corresponding numerical key, and
your selection is registered and the screen
automatically returns to the "Set Condition"
menu.
