MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION
In spect the c ylind er bore w all for any sc ratc hes or other
damage.
Inspect the piston surface for scra tc hes or oth er dam age.
Inspect the prim ary cup for d amage.
MASTER CYLINDER REASSEMBLY AND
REMOUNTING
Rea ssemble and remount the m ast er cy lind er in the reve rse
ord er o f rem ova l and di sasse mbly. and also ca rry oul the
follo wing steps:
CAUTION :
Wash the master cylinder components with fresh brake fluid
before reassembly . Never use cleaning solvent or gasoline
to wash them . Apply brake fluid to the cylinder bore and
all internals to be inserted into the bore .
• Reassembl e and remount the m aster cyli nd er . (Refer to
page 6- 23.)
CAUTION:
Bleed air after reassembling the master cylinder . (Refer to
