6·11 CHASSIS
• Disconnect the headlight lead wires .
•
Remove the headlight housing with headlight by
remov·
ing the screw.
• Remove the two brake hose guides.
• Remove the odometer bracket with the odometer and
cable .
• Remove the throttle grip case and throttle grip .
• Remove the engine stop switch and clutch lever holder .
• Disconnect the de-comp o cable .
• Remove the handlebar .
• Remove the steering stem upper bracket by removing the
nut .
• Remove the steering stem nut with the special tool.

NOTE:
Hold the steering stem lower bracket by hand to prevent
it
from falling .
