• TIghten the batancershah bolt to the specified torque with
the special tool.
Tightening torque : 40 - 60 N 'm
14.0 - 6 .0 kg-m. 29 .0 - 43 .5 Ib-Itl

CAM CHAIN AND PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR
• Engage the cam c hain to the sp rocket .
• Install the key
CD
to the c rankshaft.
• When installing the primary drive gear , al ig n the key
CD
with the groove of gea r.
• Tig hten the primary drive gea r nut to the 'Specified tor-
que with the special tool.
Tightening torque : 60 - 80 N' m
(S ,0 - 8 ,0 kg-m, 43 ,5 - 58 ,0 Ib-Itl

This nut has lefr-hand thread.
CAM DRIVEN GEAR AND GEARSHIFT SHAFT
• Inst all the spacer
®
ont o the gea rshift cam .
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK SUPER " 1303"
to the gearshift stopper bolt @ . and tighten it to the speci·
fied torque .

• Install the gearshift pawls into the ca m driven gear. The
large shou ld er (}must f ace to the out side as show n in
the illustration.
