REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Special Tool(s) 3. Remove the wheel and tire.

4m A ~ A U ~ l 0 N : ~ r o t e c t the ball joint seal using
a soft cloth to prevent damage.

Detach the lower arm ball joint from the
I wheel knuckle.
General Equipment
Remove the heat shield.
Four leg puller
Removal
I . Loosen the strut and spring assembly top
mount retaining nuts by three turns.

joint must not be bent more than 18 degrees.
The outer joint must not be bent more than
45 degrees.
Using a suitable four leg puller, detach the
halfshaft from the wheel hub.
