Dynamic DNS

Dynamic DNS (Domain Name System) means that your A850 will
be accessible in the internet by a host name. This is important if
your ISP provides only dynamic IP addresses, i.e. IP addresses
which can always change with each login into the internet.
Dynamic DNS allows you to assign a fixed host name to a dynamic
IP address and to access this address through the host name.
The dynamic DNS updates enables other hosts on the internet to
connect to the A850, as long as the following preconditions are
met:
If the A850 is directly connected to the ISP, it must get an
official static or dynamic IP address assigned by the ISP;
If the A850 is acting behind a NAT (Network Address
Translation) router, the NAT router must get an official static
IP address assigned by the ISP;
Note: For cases where the A850 is acting behind a NAT router
which gets a dynamic ISP address assigned by the ISP,
dynamic DNS updates should be supported by and enabled
on the router.
If there is a transparent firewall between the A850 and the
internet, it must allow certain incoming TCP/IP connection
types (HTTP or HTTPS as a minimum);
The user must create an account on a supported dynamic
DNS service.
The A850 supports two dynamic DNS update servers: a primary
which is tried first and a secondary which is only used if the primary
connection can't be established. The A850 supports updating its IP
address on a selection of the following dynamic DNS services:
