Chapter 2. System Setup
Package Contents
Before proceeding to the installation of your Base Station, first ver-
ify that you have received all of the following components:
•
the A850 Telemetry Gateway,
•
a power cord,
•
a serial null modem cable,
•
a network cable (twisted-pair standard Ethernet cable),
•
a CD with the manual,
•
a CE conformity declaration.
If any of the above items is missing, contact your dealer.
If you plan to use the Gateway's built-in modem (e.g. in conjunc-
tion with A733GSM/GPRS RTUs), you will also need a modem
cable suitable for your telephone jack (not included).
