5. Open the Left Door.
6. Grasp the handle, and remove the

waste toner bottle [3].
NOTES
• Raise the waste toner bottle gently
before removing it.
• If scattered toner has accumulated
in the vicinity of the toner collecting

port, do not tilt the waste toner bot-
tle when removing it.
• Do not leave the waste toner bottle
in a tilted condition after removing
it.
7. Pull out the Image Transfer Belt Unit

1. Insert the Transfer Belt Unit [1].
NOTE
• Insert the Transfer Belt Unit with

care not to allow its docking gear to
be damaged by hitting it against the
rail or associated part.
