Usage Guidelines
The capacitor detection method should only be enabled if there are legacy IP phones attached to the corre-
sponding slot—this feature is not compatible with IEEE specifications. Please contact your Alcatel-Lucent
sales engineer or Customer Support representative to find out which Alcatel-Lucent IP phones models
need capacitive detection enabled.
