Application Example for Explicit Messages
Sending an Explicit Message with the CMND Instruction

*The unit address of the CompoNet Master Unit
(a Special I/O Unit) is the unit number plus 20 hex.
Operation
This example reads the Unit maintenance present value from the SmartSlice I/O Terminal. The command uses
these values: Class ID: 95 hex, Instance ID: 01 hex, and Attribute ID: 71 hex.
The command code is 2802 hex (to send an explicit message).
The command data is in words starting from D01000 in the CPU Unit. The words starting from D02000 will
contain the response data.
