The Unit is online but the
communications connection
is not completed. (The Com-
poNet Master Unit is com-

the CompoNet network.

because there are too many
communications errors.

Reset the Unit power supply.
If the problem stays, replace the CompoNet Communica-
tions Unit.
Turn OFF one of these pins and reset the Unit power sup-
ply.
Make the registration table again.
Write the correct parameters again with the CX-Integrator.
Back up the data again.
Make sure that there is a Unit power supply.

• Make sure that you started the CompoNet Master Unit.
• Make sure that the SmartSlice I/O Terminal is in the
Registration Table in the CompoNet Master Unit.
Correct the node address settings and reset the Compo-
Net Communications Unit.
Do a check of these items and then reset the CompoNet
Communications Unit.
• Make sure that the trunk line cables and branch line
cables are not too long.
• Make sure that the cables are not broken or loose.
• Make sure that terminating resistance connections are
correct.
• Make sure that the CompoNet Units and cables are not
near sources of noise.
Do a check of these items and then reset the CompoNet
Communications Unit.
