This section tells you about the performance of remote I/O communications
with SmartSlice I/O Terminals. Use this information when the timing of I/O is
important.
The equations in this section have these conditions.
• All Slaves must be in communications with the Master.
• The CompoNet Master Unit must not show an error.
The I/O response time is from when an input at an Input Slave shows at the
CompoNet Master Unit until it makes an output at an Output Slave. Both the
Input Slave and Output Slave are in the SmartSlice I/O Terminal. The ladder
program in the CPU Unit of the PLC processes the input to make the output.
