Chassis LEDs on an XRE200 External Routing Engine

The XRE200 External Routing Engine has three chassis LEDs on the bottom left side of the front panel.
Table 7 on page 30
describes the chassis LEDs on an XRE200 External Routing Engine, their colors and
states, and the status they indicate. You can also view the colors of the three LEDs remotely through the
CLI by issuing the operational mode command show chassis led.

A major alarm (red) indicates a critical error condition that requires immediate action.
A minor alarm (yellow) indicates a noncritical condition that requires monitoring or maintenance. A minor
alarm that is left unchecked might cause interruption in service or performance degradation.
All three LEDs can be lit simultaneously.

External Routing Engine is powered on.

External Routing Engine hardware is hotter than the
maximum high temperature threshold.
At least one fan has failed.
A power supply is not supplying power to the external
Routing Engine.
