Animated indicators with bright green backgrounds demonstrate normal
operating status, while indicators with flashing red backgrounds announce
alert conditions.

The Port Tab

The Port Tab provides information specific to a port as well as certain control
functions. To access this information, click on the Port tab of the expanded
view of the hub or right click over a port.
The fields in the display are as follows:
Power – This function shows the status of the power supplies and the
voltage regulator. If redundant power supply is present, both supplies
would be reflected,
Thermal - This function shows the fan and the temperature status of the
device.
Up Time - This function shows how long the device has been up since
the last time it was powered up and the cumulative time the device has
been up since it was manufactured.
Port - This function identifies the device ports by number.
Bypass Control - This function displays a check box that the user can
toggle to force a port into the bypass state. If a Fibre Channel device is
connected to the port that has been forced to the bypass state, that device
will not be allowed to enter the loop.
