The primary criteria for activating this diagnostic tool include Loop Down
Duration and Initialization Frequency, which trigger the LED-like warnings
in the same manner as the Loop Initialization Diagnostic tool.

Discover Proxied Devices

The discovery process probes the Fibre Channel network connected to the
proxy master device and determines which devices exist on the Fibre Channel
network. These devices include all Compaq ICI-capable, interconnect devices.
IMPORTANT: The Compaq proxy master device should find itself (as a minimum) and
record at least one device. If no managed devices are found, there is an error. You should
check the IP address and the physical connection, as well as insure that the device is
configured as a proxy master agent.
The Fibre Channel Proxy Agent dialog box appears after the selection is made
in the Context Menu (accessed by right clicking). This display can also be
used to set the Community Names for each individual network. Simply enter
the information and click set. Community Names can also be set globally as
well.
IMPORTANT: Compaq Community Names are case-sensitive and limited to 15 characters.
