Remove the screw (A), and then disconnect the sensor cable.

Remove the sensor and cover.

Remove all optional trays from the printer.

Remove tray 1.

To access the bottom, lay the printer on its back on a sturdy surface.

Release the paper size sensor cover using a flat screwdriver, and then remove it.
