Use the Diagnostics Menu to test the replacement part. Do a feed test to check if the problem is resolved.
•
If the problem is not resolved—Turn off the printer, and then reinstall the old part.
•
If the problem is resolved—Perform a POR.
Removal procedure

Swing the control panel away from the printer.

Release the control panel (4.3‑inch display) cover using a flat screwdriver, and then remove it.

Remove the six screws (A), and then lift the control panel.
