6. Install the updated license
and authentication file

7. Save Translations
See Saving translations in
Chapter 12.
8. Verify that the media
gateway has registered
with either the primary
controller (LSP mode) or
the S8300B/S8300C/
S8300D (ICC mode).
9. Reboot LSPs (if any)
10. Verify LSP translations
date and time (if any).
11. Verify LSP status (if any)

Task
ICC mode: On LSPs of the S8300B/S8300C/S8300D (if any)
ICC mode: On the S8300B/S8300C/S8300D (primary controller)
Steps/Comments
Open a SAT session with either the primary
controller (LSP mode) or the S8300B/S8300C/
S8300D (ICC mode) and enter list
media-gateway.
Verify that the Registered field (Reg?) is y.
Place a test call.
At the LSP's SAT prompt, enter reset system 4.
To view the date and time of the LSP translations, enter
list configuration software.
At the SAT prompt, enter list
survivable-processor. The LSP name and
IP address should be listed.
The Translations Updated field shows the time
and date of the translation most recently copied
to the survivable server.
