Troubleshooting

Universal Groomer (Optional): General Information
Problem
The groomer reel does not
rotate.
The turf is damaged or has
uneven grooming.
Possible Causes
The groomer drive is in
neutral.
The groomer drive gears are
damaged or seized.
The groomer is set too
aggressively.
The groomer reel blades are
bent, damaged, or missing.
The groomer reel shaft is bent
or damaged.
Grooming depth is not equal
on both ends of the groomer
reel.

Correction
Engage the groomer drive to
forward or reverse.
Repair the groomer drive.
Refer to groomer Installation
Instructions for groomer set-up
information.
Repair or replace the blades if
necessary.
Replace the groomer reel
shaft.
Adjust the depth if necessary.
Check and adjust the cutting
unit set up (level bed knife to
reel, level rear roller to reel,
set the height-of-cut, etc.).
