Installing the Engine

Ensure that all parts removed from the engine during maintenance
are installed.
1. If the exhaust manifold was removed during maintenance, use new exhaust
gaskets and tighten the manifold screws from 20 to 22 N·m (170 to 200 in-lb).

2. If the engine hub or the pump hub was removed
lubricant to the bore of the hub and install the hub and key. Apply medium
strength thread locker to the hub set screws and tighten from 10 to 12 N∙m
(90 to 110 in-lb).
Note: Do Not tighten the engine hub set screws until after the engine and
the pump have been installed on the machine.
The engine assembly weighs approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Use an
appropriate lift to support the engine assembly.
