R eplacing W ip er Blades
For safety reasons, rem ove key
from steering lock before replac­
ing a w iper blade, otherw ise the
m otor can suddenly turn on and
cause injury.
W indshield W ip er Blades
Rem oval:
Pull w iper blade arm s upw ard
from the rest position to th eir stop.
R eplace w iper blades one at a
tim e to prevent the w iper arm s
from sliding back to the rest
position.

Fold w iper arm forw ard. Press
safety tab dow n (1), push w iper
blade dow nw ard (2) and rem ove.
Installation - d riv e r's side:
Press safety tab of new w iper
blade dow n. Insert w iper blade
between the tabs (3) on the w iper
arm and slide into end of w iper
arm . Then press safety tab up­
ward until it locks in place.
Installation - passenger side:
Fold w iper arm forw ard and slide
w iper blade into end of w iper arm
until safety tab locks in place.
Note:
Do not open engine hood with
w iper arm s folded forward.
H eadlam p W ip er Blades
Rem oval:
Fold w iper arm forw ard. Push
pin (1) and rem ove.
Installation:
Place w iper blade on w iper arm
and press in pin (1).
